Bhoomi Poojan and tree plantation ceremony stage with chief guest and trust family at Dhenu Govind Pakshi Seva Dham

Bhoomi Poojan & Vrikshaaropan: Smt. Kaushalya Sai Graces the Dham as Chief Guest

Vishwa Gita Dhenu Govind Pakshi Seva Dham celebrated a special day of blessings as the trust held its Bhoomi Poojan evam Vrikshaaropan (ground-breaking and tree-plantation) ceremony on the dham premises in Kumhari, Raipur.

The chief guest for the occasion was Smt. Kaushalya Sai, wife of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. Smt. Sai performed the bhoomi poojan rituals with the trust family and priests, invoking blessings for the continued growth of the gaushala, the Dhenu-Govind temple, and the bird-seva kabutar khana. She then planted a sapling on the grounds, a gesture symbolising the dham’s ongoing commitment to seva, shelter, and green, sustainable growth for Gau Mata, Thakur Ji, and the birds.

Members of the Sultania family, trustees, and well-wishers from Kumhari and the wider Raipur-Durg region joined the ceremony, offering their support and blessings for the dham’s mission.

“Nishkam Seva Parmo Dharma” — we serve without asking for anything in return, and every guest who visits is welcomed as family. Occasions like this Bhoomi Poojan remind us that the dham’s growth is made possible by the goodwill of the whole community.

We are deeply grateful to Smt. Kaushalya Sai for gracing the ceremony and to everyone who joined us to plant a sapling and be part of this milestone. To see more moments from the dham, or to plan a visit, see our events page or get in touch.
